1. No godmodding 2. No autohitting 3. No powerplay 4. The battle is set in a large forest clearing with a lake in the middle _________________________________________________________ Shift looked around the area, looking at the trees and then at the large lake. He knew that his opponent was suppose to be someone named Crystal. He wondered where she was.
"Hmm, she seems to be running rather late" he teased as his cat ears flicked to try and catch her footsteps or breathing around him.
"She better hurry, I'm counting down the seconds" more teasing.
He was actually looking at a pocketwatch that was now in his hand as he was watching and listening to the ticking of the second hand.
"A few more seconds, and I might grow bored of this" he sighed and snapped shut the pocketwatch, putting it back into his pocket.
"Entertain me, my dear" he said and looked over at a certain tree to see that he had found.. indeed.. Crystal.
Crystal was sticking her head out of a tree and grinned. Then she disappeared into it and appeared again sitting cross-legged on a flat boulder top. "Sorry bout that, I had some 'business' to take care of." she half-sneered, still grinning like a cat. Crystal let her legs dangle at the edge, leaning back on her elbows for support. "You're Shift?" she said, looking him up and down. Then she yawned. Crystal appeared bored, but actually she was taking a look at him to get a dry draft of what he could do. "Well, let's begin, shall we?" she grinned again. "I'll let you have the first move." Her voice had a slight edge to it, as she was impatient.
"I'm sure you must have had some buisness, my dear." he told her as he took a few steps towards her.
"But I find it more entertaining if the lady goes first. Don't you think? I'm only being a gentleman?" he teased.
This was how he was, teasing those to the point. He was more of a trickster rather than anybody else would pull a few strings. Instead, he would do whatever it took to come out on top, regardless of what happens.
"So, why don't you go ahead and make your move? I already took steps, I think my turn is over" he chuckled.
Crystal laughed. "Smart one, eh?" she said, disappearing again. Crystal appeared again, but she wasn't on the ground, rather she was in the air, and had shapeshifted into a Falcon. "Can you match me in the air?" Crystal taunted. She needed to see Shift fight.
Crystal fell down, but she changed back to human before hitting the ground, landing perfectly on her legs. Her arms were still numb, but she could use them nonetheless. Crystal processed Shift could use ice magic and carefully thought what to use against it. Crystal banged her arms against the ground, shattering the ice around them. She flexed her fingers, then pulled out three shuriken, holding them between her fingers. "Fight or flight, hm, I'll do fight for now, since somebody~ doesn't like flight." Crystal chimed, and she jumped backwards to stand on the boulder, crouched in a ninja-pounce position.
