Starting in just an hour and a half, TheSpeedGamers are holding another fun-filled Pokemon marathon for charity, playing through tons of Pokemon games in an attempt to catch all 649 Pokemon before their week-long marathon ends. Yep, that's right, it's 168 hours straight of Pokemon, all streamed to you live!
They'll be raising money for ACT Today!, a great charity to raise awareness and provide support for autism. That's a great cause and one that hits close to home for me, as even some of my own friends and relatives are affected by some form of autistic spectrum disorder.
You'll be able to watch their endeavors live starting today at 6:00pm Central Time, and lasting until June 22. I'll show my support by including a little notice at the top of each page on the site until then (as well as making a donation of my own). I'd love it if you could show your support as well by watching them whenever you're able, telling your friends, sharing this via Twitter or Facebook (buttons below!), and, if you're able, to donate some money to the cause. 100% of the donations go directly to ACT Today!, which is wonderful. Thanks!
Also, more Black 2 / White 2 related stuff is up over on the Black 2 / White 2 coverage page. Go on over and check it out! There's a lot to update and, to keep from spoiling stuff for the English release, I'll just let you poke around over there if you want to know what's changed.
I have watched about 10-12 hours of this and it is fun. There are many jokes, pranks, competitions, as well as the ability to watch some gameplay that you may not have ever done or that you may have played a long time ago. They need lots of money, so please donate if you can. Just by posting somethign to FB or Twitter can make the difference for an autistic child.
