Alright folks, this week has certainly been a busy week as far as coverage for Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 goes, but on Thursday, I uploaded the video of the last battles in Black 2 to YouTube, completing my video coverage for now. Over 42 GB of videos were uploaded over those past three to four days, spanning a total of 27 1/2 hours of video coverage. Not too shabby!
Unfortunately, since my site's video system is not quite fully automated, I fell behind in getting the videos available on my site (they were still on YouTube, though). But that's all fixed now: All 46 episodes of my Pokemon Black 2 playthrough are now available on my site! Go ahead and watch them at your leisure. They also have titles now, so please, if you're worried about spoilers, avoid scrolling down too much, although I am considerate and avoid putting anything TOO spoilerish in the titles, don't worry!
On top of that, what I'm excited to announce is that I've officially started the Pokemon Black 2 / White 2 Walkthrough for the site! Yes, that's right, a full-fledged strategy guide walkthrough thingy, made available to you to use to help you get through the game. I focused on the video series first, figuring most people would rather see visuals of the new stuff rather than just read about it, but now that the main game part of the video series is complete (don't worry, I'll do post-game stuff after the walkthrough is done!), I've begun work on my second playthrough of the game on my White 2 version and am writing a walkthrough for both games.
Right now it covers up until you get the first badge of the game, but I hope to add more to this walkthrough every day and finish it as soon as possible. Hopefully that will be able to help you if you imported the Japanese game, but even if you didn't, it'll be available for you for when the English version is released (October 7th in North America and October 12th in Europe!), so it's all good.
The Expanded Unova Dex #'s were off by 1 (my bad, forgot Victini was #000; it lists it as "---" now, but whatever). This is fixed now.
Links to evolutions took you to the old Black / White Pokedex page. This is also fixed.
There are still several other bugs that need to be worked out as well as many more things to add, such as locations and move tutor moves. Thankfully, I have that data now, but I need to cross-reference it with stuff in the game, so it may still take a little bit before it gets up. You should start to see location information popping up in the walkthrough for now, though, and once I feel certain everything is correct and all of the locations are labeled, I'll add the locations to the Pokedex.
Alright, now to get back to work on the walkthrough! Enjoy and have a good weekend! Also, good luck to all Marriland fans participating in the 2012 US Pokemon National Championships for both the Trading Card Game and the Video Game! That's going on this weekend as well. Sadly, I could not make it there, due to having to cover the release of Black 2 and White 2, but I'm sure it will be a fun event, so be sure to take pictures and to have fun if you made it out there!
