09/16/00 - Interview with Kane Keller.

Hello! It's Dr. D and I'm going to interview one of the best players in the world - Kane Keller!

Dr. D: Well, here we are at the Pokémon League! And I'm going to interview Kane Keller. Ah! There he is!
Dr. D: Hi Kane! Let me ask you a few questions, first: Do you practice a lot?
Kane: About once a day.

Dr. D: Once a day? I usually battle once in two or so days. On your busiest day, how may times do you battle?
Kane: About 5, and that's a tournament day.

Dr. D: Yeah. That's pretty good! Do you belive in lucky coins?
Kane: Yep, my Japanese Gloom coin.

Dr. D: No way! I have one, and it's almost always heads! I don't use it often though... It wears it out (Makes it tails often.).
Dr. D: Do you try to use different decks in the tournaments, or do you you the same one?
Kane: I try to change them around.

Dr. D: I wish I could enter more tournaments...
Dr. D: Okay, I have a favorite Pokémon (which I know anyone reading this can guess... ... ...MARRIL!), do you?
Kane: The dark evolution of Eevee.

Dr. D: Oh yes! That's my favorite of the Eevee-evolutions. How long have you been playing Pokémon?
Kane: About a year and a half.

Dr. D: That's a long time! That's around when I started. Okay, I like to use Energy Removals and Disrupt the opponent to win,
but what's your favorite strategy to play?
Kane: I'd say that I try to knock out the opponent as quickly as possible.

Dr. D: Don't we all! Do you have a favorite deck?
Kane: My Scyther, Electabuzz, Magmar deck.

Dr. D: Oooh, tough! Besides coming to my site, what do you suggest for new players?
Kane: Start out with a simple deck and try to improve it card by card until you are happy with your deck. You can also check
websites (Websites... ...Hmm... ...Maybe... Marriland?) for deck ideas. Good luck!

Dr. D: Good luck to you too, Kane! Well that's it for this interview. Until next time - See ya!
