I'd have to give my vote to Trevor. Calem/Serena are pretty cool, and it's nice that they develop a complex over losing to you to give them a bit of characterization. Tierno's entire characterization is that he dances, which gets old after like the first three sentences out of his mouth. Shauna was just plain bland and generic until she turned out to be a horrible, horrible friend as Mark somewhat pointed out.Posted in: Featured Weekly Poll
Trevor, meanwhile, has one moment that made me actually like him: after one altercation with Team Flare, he mentions afterward that he was terrified, and would rather not confront them again if he could. But despite being scared, he still had your back. Which is far more than could be said for Shauna. Calem/Serena help against Flare, yes, but they're the real Trainer amongst your group and therefor can assuredly hold their own: Trevor knew he was weak and helped you anyway.

And if we DO make a lynch today, and it's a mislynch, we could potentially lose 4+ townies (lynch + 2mafia kills + SK + possibly other) within the day/night times.. x.x That's pretty much 1/3.
I do really think it's funny that some people are trying to find stuff on people with all this info we have. A+ for effort though SG. <3
DON'T YOU TRY TO TALK ME OUT OF MY GAMBLING ADDICTION

I would just like to point out the irony in SG saying "the power of reading" in his first point, then putting blame incorrectly on Sarasa for his second point about the "likes and dislikes" thing. :PPosted in: Mafia
Things are still too early for me to form any solid suspicions yet: unless someone scrounges up a decent case against someone with this few posts, I'm thinking we may have to lynch an inactive. I don't like waiting around for a slip-up, and we don't even know if we have a Jailer to make up for not using our primary weapon.

I am for once, just for the added difficulty in pulling off the above scenario.
...I'm bored. We need the rest of our d00ds to report last night's happenings so we don't talk about public transportation for the next two hours. :I

Just from reading these past few pages I'm thinking we all need to take some time to reread the changed roles list and this Day's chat: there are things being brought up that have already been covered (such as TestSubject posing the possibility of Drug Dealer and Alpha asking if SK gets a roleblocked notif).Posted in: Mafia
@Alpha pointing out Kaity and I: There's one problem with your implication. There is only one Serial Killer in the game, yet you're putting slight suspicion on the both of us for the same offhanded comment made in defense of Thunda. The numbers and context don't really add up. :P
@Bussings: Newbies aren't the most obvious targets for night actions, which may have been what our busser had in mind in targeting Psy at the very least. We can't reach any solid conclusion with just one night's bussing though, so we probably shouldn't get hung up on this for too long.

Except there's this part in the Serial Killer description:Posted in: Mafia
"If a Dancer roleblocks the Serial Killer, the Serial Killer will kill the Dancer instead of their original target."
So it's indeed possible that Thunda is the SK as Sinister has posed, but that would make her claim a poorly thought out WIFOM situation.
9/10/2013 3:17:36 PM
My mafia participation has been spotty as of late, and I don't lurk them either, so if we're just going to metagame-theorize over the kills, then you can count me out due to being totally useless. :vPosted in: Mafia
wat. There is little to no reason to hide being roleblocked right now: it gives information for Town to possibly work with later on. There is also this little tidbit from the Dancer role description:Quote from _Sinister_M_I really hate that kind of reasoning... But it does obviously have merit.
And we've got a roleblocked claim now, yay! Obviously this means that Thundawave could be our SK, she wasn't under any pressure to say she was roleblocked if she actually was (if anything there was pressure for her to hide the fact if she was RB'd), considering the fact we already know there are 2 dancers. So I guess it's a start to look at Thundawave possibly being the SK...
"If the Dancer hits one of the aforementioned immune roles, the roleblocking will fail, and both the Dancer and the target will receive a notification that of the failure."
The SK wouldn't get a "you were roleblocked!" message if a Dancer got in their way, I'm fairly sure, especially considering that the Dancer gets shanked instead of successfully blocking their role (though I never had SK, so I can't speak from experience). Meaning that it's more likely that Thunda is not our SK: a WIFOM strategy would be far too risky to attempt on the very first real Day.

lol @ everyone saying "the" mafia Dancer as if there could only be one. Mark himself has said at the end of the Day post that duplicate roles are possible, and remember that there are two mafia factions to take into account this game: it's entirely possible that the red mafia have one as well.Posted in: Mafia
Nothing happened to me overnight either, by the by.
