I get the feeling that this RP could be long dead by the time dirano gets back... We should make an effort to keep it on the first page guys :)

EDIT: Ooooops... I may be a touch late for this one, considering lala's reservation. But please consider me anyway, I put in my all for this application)
So I haven't visited this board in a looong time. I used to roleplay here, around three years ago, before high school decided that it wanted more of my time than it was strictly entitled to. But now that I've finally come out the other side I thought I'd get into it again. So let's give this a shot ^^
Name: Montague Piccioni
(Minus the guns of course. Credit to deviantart user Triple_Q for the picture)
Biography (Optional but encouraged): Montague Piccioni was born and raised in Anistar City, in sight of the giant sundial. When he was very young, he received a Sneasel who became his constant companion, assistant and co-conspirator. As a child, Montague would visit the sundial every day, wondering what it was, who had made it and why nobody had figured it out yet. When he graduated school, he spent two years in an engineering college and quickly found a job as a researcher for Kalos' defence force. There, he spent twenty years creating weaponry and planning death.
Personality: Montague is a veteran of the war. He was an arms technician for the defending side, and he spent the twenty years of destruction inside concrete bunkers, helping to create ever more horrifying weapons of destruction. While he survived, unlike most of Kalos' war survivors, there was a small part of him that died when he finally stopped and realised all the deaths his inventions had caused. At his very core, Montague is a decent man, and he is consumed with guilt over the things he's done and seen. All he wants is to make the world right again, if only to save him from his own conscience.
Moves: Taunt, Hone Claws, Ice Shard, Brick Break
Ability (Dream World + Hidden Ability allowed): Pickpocket
Biography (Optional but encouraged): Montague received Sneasel as a boy. They grew close very quickly and became the best of friends. They often had long childhood adventures that included looking for treasure in Terminus Cave and trying to sneak up on the ancient Mamoswine that lived on Route 17. Their mutual trust is peerless, and Weavile has saved Montague's life in the hostile, empty wasteland more times than either of them can count.
Personality: Weavile is Montague's best friend, and they view each other as equals. Despite his advanced age for an average Pokemon, he is still extremely energetic and physically fit, and is Montague's strongest Pokemon by far. Weavile is also capable of bringing out Montague's mischievous side, and his natural inquisitive side caused multiple laboratory accidents while Montague worked for the army, the most notable of which resulted in his evolution.
How Weavile Evolved: One late night, Montague was working on a Pokemon modifier that would allow the user to achieve critical hits without fail. He was studying an item called a Razor Claw, which apparently had an effect on critical-hit ratios. As the story goes, Montgue turned away to fetch a chemical he believed would extract the Claw's innate power, and Sneasel jumped up on the chair to inspect it himself. When Montague turned back, the Claw was gone and Sneasel was sitting in a corner, looking at it intently. When Montague went to catch him, he leapt up, straight into a beam of moonlight... There was a flash of light, and Sneasel was a Weavile.
Special Characteristics (Optional): Weavile's once bright-red mane has dulled to a dark reddish-brown as he has aged. Other than that, he is a normal Weavile, albeit with slightly shorter ears than the average male.
Pokemon 2 (Optional):
Moves: X-Scissor, Dig, Fury Swipes, Metal Claw
Ability (Dream World + Hidden Ability allowed): Compoundeyes
Biography (Optional but encouraged): Montague received Nincada as a present from his parents upon his graduation from college. He was delighted that he was finally able to expand his Pokemon team. However, his new job in the defence force gave him little spare time to spend with his new Nincada. Nincada's jealousy of Sneasel, Montague's obvious favourite, and her resentment of his neglection slowly turned into a general dislike of him.
Personality: When she is around Montague, Nincada, becomes defensive and sulky and refuses to talk to him. She doesn't follow his orders in battle, and is therefore generally useless. Montague feels guilty about his treatment of her, so he refuses to release her in the hope that they may, once more, see eye to eye.
Special Characteristics (Optional): Nincada, like all members of her species, is blind. However, unlike most she is completely blind, and has no idea what anything looks like - things like the outside world, or Montague's face.
Pokemon 3 (Optional): Montague never caught a third Pokemon. However, he always kept an extra Poke Ball on hand, just in case...

Posted in: MusicQuote from Overdose »Believe me I've had plenty of bad stories from morons in my grade who listen to bad music.
Me: I listen to '90s music.
Some other kid: Oh my god! You listen to the Beatles?!
Me and my friend: We're doing a project on Nirvana
EVERY OTHER KID IN THE GRADE: Who's that?
It makes me sad.
I don't listen to radios anymore. I was thoroughly depressed when I heard that Part Rock Anthem and Sexy And I Know It were both number one, especially given that LMFAO have about the musical talent of my kitchen table. Ditto Rihanna, FloRida, Taio Cruz etc. Nowadays if I wanna hear music, I stick one of my collector's-edition Coldplay EPs into my stereo.
