GameFreak does decide how they look, they're the ones who makes the game, and the Pokemon. And Mega Blastoise, Gengar, Mewtwo X, Heracross, Tyranitar, Gardevoir, Aggron, Manectric, and Abomasnow are all fat. 9/28, which is less than a third, but still very close to a third, which is why I said a third instead of saying nine twenty-eights.Posted in: News

Even worse, more akin to GSG/HGSS, where Team Rocket's grand plan was to take over the radio tower just to beg their old leader to come back. :PPosted in: News

TL;DR Wait for Z.Posted in: News
I really didn't like the storyline. The plot was utterly horrible, and there really is nothing. It takes two steps BACKWARD compared to BW1's storyline. At first, you just wander around the region, and collect badges while rarely seeing Team Flare. Then, like you said, it explodes out of nowhere.
There is no gravity for the situation. It's a conglomerate mess, Team Flare's goal is stupid and unrealistic, and after you defeat Team Flare within a half hour, your friends, the professor, everybody just goes back to regular. It's like Team Flare didn't even exist.
Compare this to BW1, where the pacing was perfect. You met Team Plasma and saw them with increasing frequency over the course of the game, not adding too much or too little. Then you fight them, they have an evil goal set in mind by the psychopath Ghetsis, and it really does feel like you're fighting for the Pokemon world. After you defeat them, people start to reconsider their thoughts, and the Unova region tries to recover from the psychological effects (was I wrong to do that?) and physical effects (Pokemon stolen by Team Plasma) instigated by Plasma.
After that, there is not much left. You go on to defeat the Elite 4, and then there's post-game, which there is a lot of. Kiloude City (especially Friend Safari), Looker's Bureau, Mega Stones, doing everything you didn't do yet, battling, etc.
I find the battle theme to be incredibly annoying. It's five seconds long in length, and loops over and over again into a repetitive theme that you have to endure every time you battle. The game doesn't have much going for it in terms of music. The only themes I found to be agreeable was Coumarine City and Shalour City.
Not to mention, there is no difficulty. I'm pretty sure that if you did any type of "challenge," like Nuzlocke or solo, it wouldn't do anything to add to the difficulty. This game was literally meant for 5-year-olds. Not 20-year-olds, which is actually a large portion of the fanbase, or 10-year-olds, but 5-year-olds. I used the EXP. Share to rotate my team between 11 different Pokemon, and even though I was under-leveled, I still defeated the Gym Leaders, Elite 4, Team Flare, anybody with ease.
Speaking of gyms, they aren't spectacular at all. Most of them are just proceed forward, with a couple of dead-ends so you can waste a few seconds getting there. The biggest offender was Cyllage City gym, with a climbing wall. The graphics in it are spectacular, which is why everybody likes it, but when it comes down to the puzzle, you just proceed forward on the climbing walls to get up, with 1 or 2 dead-ends with no purpose. They may as well have made an elevator for you to get to the top.
While there are only 69 new
I honestly don't like any Megas. Hopefully Megas will just be in 6th gen and won't transfer over to future generations. Megas in general seem lazy, unnecessary, and fat. (I don't get what's GameFreak's obsession with fat Pokemon is, first the 4th Gen evolutions were all fat, and now a third of all Megas are fat.) Many of the original, great designs and concepts were destroyed by the new Mega evolutions. Lots of them just have more spikes, protrusions, fatter, whatever. Nothing that adds on to the CONCEPT of the Pokemon. I was really angry when they announced that they butchered Ampharos, with nothing going for it other than adding more orbs and a hairstyle.
The Pokemon designs were great, A+. There's only 69 new Pokemon here, but many of them have great concepts and designs. Heck, Slurpuff is now my favorite all time. There are many new, great Pokemon. Goomy's line is simple and yet elegant. It reverts back to the original style of Gen 1, and as each evolution is reached, they don't add too much or too little. Then there's also Vivillon. While at first this is just a clone of other butterflies, it really takes advantage of the trading system and is an ingenious way to promote trading and geological variety. There are some misses, like Diggersby, that ugly hobo of an Ambipom rip-off that is a horrible design compared to its pre-evolution, and Furfrou, of which its only purpose is looks and nothing else, but there is a lot to be had here.
What is the problem with all these cities where they tack on everything and leave the other cities dry. First Castelia, now Lumiose. There is so much in Lumiose that you are overwhelmed in it and lost in the city. Then there is also the problem of the camera view, there is many annoyances that overall make for an exasperating experience. I utterly hate everything about Lumiose City and its camera view and all the snobbish people there and EVERYTHING! I hope its economy collapses due to the fact that all it has is cafes and Furfrou salons, then we won't have to visit it in Pokemon Z.
Basically, anybody who has not bought it yet should wait for Z. This game was a failure, and the only redeeming value is the PSS and interacting with other players in general.

Here's how it goes: He states how well the Pokemon is based on all their IVs summed up. Outstanding as you said 151 to 186 in all stats, which is very high. Then he checks what its highest IV(s) are. For example, you said HP, Attack, Sp. Def, and Speed. They are all the same, and him saying "They can't be beat!" means that they are all 31s. After that, he tells you of any stats that are 0s, let's say Special Attack.Posted in: Pokémon X & Y

Posted in: Pokémon X & YQuote from TatsuNoYamiRain Dance doesn't work and already tried changing the date and time on my 3DS with no luck. I can honestly say that it is frustrating to unbearable levels.
You have to find natural rain in the overworld. Anyways, my friend told me Monday 12PM-1PM worked for him, and it did for me. Try that.
