Hm... Maybe trying for Intermediate right away wasn't the best idea, not at my level.
I'm not sure which division this banner should be in... Anyone?
I might change my entry later on.

"I'll go do it!" Tryna said. She ran in ahead of him.Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying
Nurse Joy looked up at her with a smile "Hello, what can I do for you?" She asked.
"I'd like to book a room for three, for tonight," Tryna said. Burn hopped up onto the counter.
Nurse Joy wrote something down on a pad of paper, and smiled back up at her. "Sure thing. We'll have the room ready for tonight. Take care."
Tryna nodded, picking up Burn and running back out. She nearly collided with Ben, who was coming in the door.
"Done already?" He asked.
"Yep!" Tryna said. "Lets go find Taji!" She ran off again.
"H-hey, wait up!" Ben called, running after her.

Tryna smiled at Ben as he came over. "This is Fern! He helped us out at the Pewter Museum, remember?" Fern grinned at him from behind Tryna. "It's nice to see you again," he said politely. "Sorry Tryna, I'll need to be going now. Before Tart comes and finds me here."Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying
"Are you sure you can't stay a little longer?" asked Tryna.
He shook his head. "Tatrt is one person I do not want angry at me right now. I'll be seeing you later, though. Bye! Bye, Ben!" He waved at them, and dashed away.
Tryna smiled at Ben. "We should go look for Taji. I wonder where he is?"

Tryna wandered around in the trees near the base of the mountains, searching for new pokemon. After a while she gave up, and went back into town. Looking around, she saw a familiar face. "Fern!" She called.Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying
Tarts brother turned around in alarm, and relaxed when he saw her. "Oh, Tryna, it's you," He said, releived. "Thank goodness. Are you alone?"
"Yeah, for now," Tryna said, wandering to him. "Why so jittery? You hiding from someone?"
"Actually, yes. Tart won't leave me be. She says that she can't beleive I actually helped you out back at the musuem." He sighed, running his hand through his hair. "She's been a real bother, so I came here to get her off my back."
"I understand," Tryna said, grinning. "How is it that such a kind person like you and such a grump like her are related?"
"I think she was dropped on her head when she was little," Fern grumbled. They walked a little while, back to the Nugget Bridge.
"How's your pokemon?" Tryna asked him, looking up; he was a good head taller than her.
"Same old," He replied. "Growlithe is going to evolve soon, he's getting really tempermental."
"Do they all get tempermental when they're going to evolve?" She asked.
"Some do. It depends on your pokemons nature."
They stood there in silence for a moment. Then Fern pointed. "Hey, isn't that your friend over there?"
Tryna looked across the river and, sure enough, Ben was there. What was more, he was kissing Crystal.
"They're in the wrong spot," Fern said, shading his eyes against the sun. "The date spot is the other way."
Tryna sighed. Someone she found Ben kissing Crystal sort of depressing, but she didn't give it much thought. "He never learned tact, I suppose."
"Where's your other friend?" Fern asked.
"Taji? Who knows."

Tryna stepped out of the way to let the first few people see Ross, but as more people appeared, she was quickly seperated from him. Not that she couldn't tell where he was; look where everyone else was looking. She fought to get to him, and after several attempts gave up. "I had no idea how popular he is," she muttered, shaking her head. Then she had to get out of the way as yet more people came barging their way.Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying
Deciding to wait it out and avoid possible injury, she moved further away, looking into shop windows. In one store she discovered miniature dolls of pokemon. "How cute!" she squeaked, and dashed into the shop.
When she came back out, she had purchased a Cyndaquil, Pichu, Totodile and Houndour doll, each one small enough to fit into her palm. They would make nice gifts for everyone, and she could give the Cndaquil to her father when he came.
With a smile she placed her purchases in her backpack to hide them temporairly, then looked in some other shops. While Ross was occupied, she could buy them all some Potions and the like. She entered a Potions shop, and bought a handful of them, as well as a few Full Heals. The cashier placed them in a bag and thanked her. She smiled back and left, carrying the heavy bag.
A good ten minutes had passed, and the crowd around Ross was still as large as before, if anything larger. She sighed, and sat down on a bench to wait.

Tryna smiled. "My family used to live in the Orange Islands until a month ago. We spent our time traveling from area to area, not staying in one place for more than a week. We had to have a Nurse Joy with us all the time, because both me and my mother have asthma. We weren't suspossed to come here at all, but my mother kept on having serious asthma attacks, so we came to get medical attention for her. But before we got here, she went into a coma from shock. I had promised her that I'd become a good trainer and beat the Johto league, so that's why I'm a trainer now. So that when she wakes up, she'll be proud of me. I got Burn, my Cyndaquil, and my Hoppip, then I met with Ross and Ben, and that's it!" She said it all very fast, not wanting to spend time on the details.Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying

Jack Viper, your signature is okay looking. Perhaps you should get some banners in there about you? It's a nice signature overall, though.Posted in: Technology Discussion
Teriki Tora, the banner's pretty awesome! I love the animation!
Mozeta, your signature is good too, pretty neat.
I make yet another banner the other day. Here, I'll post it up.
I'm going to have a hard time deciding which banner to use for the SOTM...

Tryna looked over at the third trainer, who nodded. "Looks like we're up again. I won't be letting you go so easily this time." She flicked a pokeball out into the open area. "Go, Ekans!" A snake-like pokemon appeared, hissing.
"Okay, your up Burn!" Tryna said, nodding to her starter pokemon. Her faithful Cyndaquil stepped forward. "Quil!"
"Ekans, use Poison Sting!" The trainer called. Ekans opened his mouth, spitting out many miniature needles at Burn.
"Burn, Defense Curl!" Tryna replied. Burn curled up into a small ball, maximizing her defense while minimizing the target. Most of the needles missed, and the ones that hit barely left a scratch. Poison Sting wasn't a strong attack to begin with.
"Ekans, Constrict!" Ekans leapt forward for the smaller pokemon. Burn uncurled herself and leapt to the side, but not fast enough. Ekans wrapped itself around her, squeezing her tightly.
"Burn!" cried Tryna, alarmed. Burn couldn't get out of the Ekans's grip, no matter how much she tried. Then Tryna called, "Ember!"
Burn looked over at Ekans's face and spat out a handful of flaming rocks. Also, the flame on her back reappeared, doubley injuring Ekans. The snake hissed and released Burn.
"Ekans, use Bite!" Ekans launched itself at Burn, jaws wide open.
"Burn, Flame Thrower!" Tryna shouted. Burn opened her mouth, and released a long tongue of flame. It scorched Ekans's mouth thoroughly.
"Now, Headbutt!" Burn charged forward, crashing into Ekans full-tilt. Both of them were sent tumbling to the other end of the battlefield, Burn also biting Ekans as much as she could. When they stopped rolling, Ekans was out cold.
"Way to go, Burn!" Tryna cheered.

Tryna smiled as Tracker started walking besides her now. She had always liked Houndours, as well as any other dog-resembling pokemon. Smeargle she wouldn't mind so much if he didn't keep trying to draw on her.Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying
Ledyba flew into the cave after them, zipping around in a frenzy. Aparrently bored, he looked around for something interesting to do. When he started taking target practise with Bens head as the target, Tryna reached out and grasped one of his legs. "Enough," she said quietly. "If you need something to do, go scout for wild pokemon."
Ledyba nodded, looking slightly ashamed. Tryna released his leg, and Ledyba flew around her a few times. Then he knocked Ben on the back of the head before flying away and out of sight. "Ledyba..." muttered Tryna tiredly.
"Aren't Ledyba's suspossed to be shy?" grumbled Ben, rubbing the spot where Ledyba had hit him. Tryna shrugged.

Tryna walked beside Sam, asking questions. The problem was, she was asking so fast she wasn't giving Sam a chance to reply. "Have you always lived in Johto your whole life? Did you ever go to the Orange Islands? There's so many rare pokemon there, you'd have loved to sketch it! How many pokemon do you have? Do you get lonely traveling by yourself all the time?" After several attempts to answer, Sam decided it was better to let Tryna wind down before replying. She was much too excited.Posted in: Pokémon Roleplaying
"Hm?" Tryna shut up for a second and looked around. "Where's your Houndour? Tracker, right?" She blink when she realized that Tracker was walking beside Ben in an almost protective manner.
"Didn't he hate Ben?" Tryna looked back at Sam. Sam smiled. "I talked to him," she replied. "He won't bother Ben too much."
Tryna shrugged, then looked down at her belt. The two occupied pokeballs on her belt wobbled, and burst open. Ledyba went soaring out, managing to knock Ross on the back of the head before vanishing into the trees around them. Hoppip landed on Tryna's head, chiming happily.
"Okay, you can stay out too," Tryna said, grinning. Burn nodded, walking beside Tryna. From in the trees, they could hear Ledyba conversing with the local pokemon.
