Why hasn't Nintendo made it so there are two different regions for each Game? It would compel ME to buy both versions.
Because having two similar games with minor differences does two major things: a) it promotes either trading with your buddy or forking over extra money to achieve 100% completion -- either way, they pretty much sell two games for each person that wants to catch em all, and b) they can make said two games at the same time with the effort of making just one.
Cheap? Probably. Profitable? You bet your toasted utensils it is.
Still, it just DOESN'T MAKE SENSE that there are different Pokemon for the same region. Unless each region takes place in two different dimensions..?
