- Xerneas looks like a Light type, what with his colorful antlers and all the condensed light around him in the trailer.
- Sylveon looks like a Light type due to it's bright hues, shiny appearance, and bright blue eyes. Plus, the Japanese name sounds like the Englsih word "nymph", which is a Light spirit, and the English name Sylveon sounds like the English word "silver".
- Why would Gamefreak want to hide Sylveon's type if it wasn't something new???
This. Maybe it could be Flying/Light? First Eeveeloution of two types would be good to introduce the new gen

If it is Light type, I'm sure there will be much reassigning of types for older Pokémon. I'd assume all those pink-colored Normal types we have now, like Chansey and such, may be changed to Light.
