get them to mid 50's because you have fight Ghetis after E4 and his pokemon are close to 60. Also i recommend getting to mid 70s after the Elite four because you have to fight them again and they are A LOT harder

I cant really say much but all i can say is that i usually end my pokemon series with the grass starter even though they have the most weaknesses out of the 3. But I start with Water the must cuz they are well rounded. So Ima say Oshawatt he is has spunk and is a freaking SAMURAI!!

Wait main story right? So that means you didn't do the end game content yet. I suggest getting ur pokemon close to lvl 80 because the Elite Four is a lot stronger than before and SPOILER ALERT!!  You get to fight Cynthia:DD

This team isn't really that good but Scafty can easily take out Grimsly, Shauntal, and Caitlyn. Chandelure can take out Shauntal and the Caitlyn. Swanna can take out Marshal. My only issue with Swanna is that she isn't really that strong but she can learn fly and surf and I need those, I just don't want to put both HMs on her because that won't really be a smart idea. Cryogonal is just there for fun and he can take out the 8th gym leader.

I have backup pokemon that I am considering putting in to my team and filling up the 6th slot.

This is pretty much everything It would be very much appreciated if you could help me with my pokemon team. If u haven't noticed each pokemon I have counters the weakenes of another pokemon. Please help and try not to put any legendaries on the team. My last resort is usually Volcarona or Kyurem.

I watched pokemon walkthrough videos and I remember that the guy had a Golurk, Levanny and Cincinno + the other 3 pokemon. But he did really good on the Elite Four. Just thought I should point that out.
