Zippy was defeated?! 0_o I don't think Zippy was knocked out at all before this episode!
I forgot that they improved Dragonite's move set in Yellow.

That always bothered me about gen 1. At times, it was as if the opponents just used random attacks (Dream Eater when you weren't even asleep/lick on normal type Clefable). I remember fighting Lance and even though he used Agility/Barrier (Dragonite with Barrier lol...) three times, he would STILL use those abilities, making Dragonite a punching bag essentially.Posted in: Pokemon.Marriland.com Videos

Couldn't stop laughing even before your rant. HAHAHA! That's total garbage when that kind of stuff happens. So hilarious.

If you go to any video game store, you MAY find used copies, but it will be very hard nowadays. They won't even take Game Boy Advance games for trade ins anymore!!!
I am SO waiting for them to release R/B/Y on the 3DS store. Instant buy. I seriously want to do a gen1 nuzlocke run, or at least go through it with pokemon I've NEVER used in any generation, like maybe Persian or Sandslash.

I always wondered why Bruno didn't have a Primeape on his team. You'd think they'd replace an Onix with one...but hey, whatever. I didn't make the game.Posted in: Pokemon.Marriland.com Videos

Man. Victory Road in R/B/Y seemed SOOO much longer when I was a kid. Same thing with the Ice Path in HG/SS. I remember playing it when it came out thinking, "Ah, the ol' Ice Path. I'd better gear up for an hour ordeal." I was very confused when I made it through in a matter of minutes. I guess puzzle-solving skills come with age...Posted in: Pokemon.Marriland.com Videos

I love these videos, Marriland! I've been playing Poke'mon since R/B/Y were first released, but haven't played a first gen game since G/S came out. This gives me that first gen nostalgia without having to re-play it! It's awesome to remember the good old days of me playing this game to try and get to know my would-be friends, since they were all WAY into it before I even knew what "Poke'mon" meant! I eventually became the best of them all, of course. :PPosted in: Pokemon.Marriland.com Videos
Thanks for the vids. They're quite entertaining! I'm 27 now, but I'll never abandon the glory days of my childhood when Poke'mon was a full blown MEGA CRAZE. Those were some seriously awesome years.
