Hmm. I'll probably enter, but I'll have to think over my types. I also won't be able to battle next week (not including this Sunday); will that be a problem?
I like this idea, though. Again, I'll put a bit of thought into it and PM you my types if it's not too much of a problem.

Charmeleon's sprite in Gen 1 kind of made me hate it over time. Charizard, on the other hand, is one of my favorite Pokemon ever.

I would love them to stop making new Pokemon and just focus on new regions.Posted in: Pokémon General
However, I think that a lot of Pokemon could use some prevolutions and evolutions, such as Absol and Maractus. There are a lot of Pokes that I could think up a new evolution for, and if I can do it Nintendo can do it as well (better).
I was honestly concerned for this generation, because I wasn't sure how they were going to top the god of all Pokemon. They pulled it off, but I don't know what they can do in Gen VI besides a bigger, better version of Genesect.

White 2 because Reshiram > Zekrom, IMO. Also because the pictures for White Forest look pretty epic (and I heard a rumor you can access Black Tower through White Forest anyway).Posted in: Pokémon Black 2 & White 2

I can see bulky Empoleon becoming much more popular now with SR. Especially with it's Water/Steel typing.Posted in: Pokémon Black 2 & White 2
Dragon Pulse is a huge gift to Serperior, as now it can hit both Ferrothorn (with HP Fire) and the Dragons (with Dragon Pulse), when it normally was restricted to either HP Ice or HP Fire. I see a lot more usage in it's future.
Haxorus got Superpower, which was a pretty nice plus. The stat drops kind of suck, though, so it's probably best on a Choice set.
I'm seriously disappointed by Kyurem-R and Kyurem-Z. The 170 stat in Attack/Sp. Attack may seem phenomenal, but in reality a pathetic defensive typing, weakness to SR, and a 95 base Speed are a huge letdown. Kyurem-R might make it into Ubers with it's flawless Fire/Dragon coverage (along with an Ice STAB), but I'm doubting Kyurem-Z will. I don't know, though, the huge attacking stat might be enough on it's own.

Moxie+DD+Outrage is illegal (not banned). However, I still recommend using Intimidate, DD, and Outrage, or Moxie, DD, and Dragon Claw. Dragon Rush is much too unreliable for me, and runs out of PP quickly.Posted in: Competitive Rate-My-Team (5th Gen)
It looks to me like you might want to consider a specially defensive set on Celebi. Recover will be necessary here, and Giga Drain will work better than Leaf Storm. It also sounds like you might want to consider HP Ice over HP Fire to nail the Dragons that plague your team. Perish Song is an option to help against set-up sweepers, and Reflect can boost your entire teams Defense for five turns. Earth Power isn't that necessary, because Heatran is mostly taken care of by Salamence and Latias.
You might want Scizor over Magnezone, as priority is really just what your team needs and you can abuse the VoltTurn that it will provide. If you do this, you'll want to give Latias HP Fire over Roar, to deal with the x4 weak such as Ferrothorn. You'll probably benefit most from the CB set. If you don't like that idea, Heatran is a very good option to still hit the x4 weak to Fire hard and still have another purpose in life. If you are still worried about bulky Waters, consider Choice Specs Jolteon.
I'll test this team out a bit and get back to you. Hope I helped.

True. I didn't really think about it, but I guess that the core can break through even dedicated physical walls (with maybe a little team support).Posted in: Competitive Battling (5th Gen)
On a different topic, there are a few things I want to try out in the OU metagame, and a Rain Dance team is one of them. I know it seems like they would be completely outclassed by Politoed, but they boast the huge advantage of being able to abuse Swift Swim. Maybe an offense team with a Rain Dance Bronzong/DD Kingdra?
Obviously added team support is a must, so maybe Ludicolo as a backup sweeper and other various Pokemon such as Latios/Celebi. Feedback?

That got on my nerves. I saw the Black/White Pokedex when it first came out, and immediately decided on using Durant and Braviary, but no.
I don't really mind Volc not being in the story, because it's so overpowered. It would have obliterated the Elite 4 and gyms after a Quiver Dance.
My current team is Samurott/Chandelure/Haxorus/Throh/Stoutland/Resh. I usually restart my game fairly quickly after the Elite 4, and try to use a different team each time.
If you haven't started your game yet, let me give you some advice; be absolutely positive that the Axew you catch (if you catch one) does not have the ability Rivalry. It will render him useless against key trainers; if you catch a male Axew your Attack is halved against Iris and half the Elite 4, and if you catch a female Axew your attack is halved against N, Ghetsis, Alder, Drayden, etc.

Posted in: Pokémon Black 2 & White 2Quote from Bubbacca »Yes, but that would make people who didn't want B/W because only they had Unova Poke'mon would flip 'cause they would want to be able to do that, but then they wouldn't want to buy B/W. Anyway, I would like it if older legendaries were able to be caught in the wild. But one strange thing to me, is why did the Shadow Triad give you the Matter Trio's orbs in the first place? I can see Giratina's, but Dialga and Palkia? Plus in the trailer pictures it shows Keldeo VS Dialga. Maybe you can catch them?
I was wondering that too. It would be awesome if you could catch that trio.
I was never really big on the wandering legends, so maybe they'll make Tornadus an encounter Pokemon and give him his own cave? It's probably a bit much to hope for, but I can dream.

Messy, I know I'm probably the least experienced of us, but I believe your core is fairly Skarmory and Bronzong weak. Having all physical attackers might be a problem, so you may want to consider something like Alakazam or Heatran (ScarfTran, maybe?). I know this isn't your full team, but that's just my two cents.Posted in: Competitive Battling (5th Gen)
