I decided to begin my nuzlocke a day earlier than planned so here it is part 1Part 1
- Named myself Toby and my Rival Gary (couldn't think of anything original to call him)
- Left my house after taking the potion from the PC, and wondered to route 1.
- Oak stopped me from entering route 1 and took me to his lab, where I choose Charmander (London)
- Gary challenged me to a battle and I easily won.
- Left Pallet Town and headed to Viridian City, where I was asked to take a package to Oak.
- Oak gave me the Pokedex and sent me on the way to becoming a champion.
- I bought pokeballs from Viridian City so I can catch my first Pokemon on route 1.
- Caught a Pidgey (Washington) and grinded both my Pokes to Level 10, without leaving Route 1
Team So Far
Charmander (London) Lv 10
Scratch
Ember
Growl
Pidgey (Washington) Level 10
Gust
Sand - Attack

Cheers I started it today before the votes had been tallied and decided I would attempt it with Charmander, if I fail i can always try again.

Yeh. I was serious. Slightly leaning towards Squirtle. If I can keep it alive it will save me struggling to catch a water type and the ridiculous amount of grinding a magickarp would take to even get it to a useful stage.

I was just wondering how difficult a nuzlocke of the original series is and whether I should try and start one? If so which starter pokemon would be the best to use? Any tips and team ideas would be appreciated and I may even consider doing a written run of this.
