Posted in: Pokémon GeneralQuote from Lolables »Well it is close to 50% accuracy. Also makes me wonder why you used hypnosis in the first place.
He was effortlessly beating them because Hypnosis was hitting about 70-80 percent of the time for me, after which I could then defeat them uninterrupted. Also, really? I thought its accuracy was 75. It's been a while since I played, though, so I may be wrong. If it does have 50 accuracy, though, it should have hit half the time, not... one ninth of the time.

I used to mildly dislike Probopass, but after reading this Let's Play, wherein the player uses one on her team, I grew to like it. Now, I just think it's sort of odd-looking.Posted in: Pokémon General
Piloswine, however, I have always hated. It's pretty alright-looking after it evolves, but until then... ugh.
Bronzong has never been one of my favorites, but it's at least... tolerable.
Seismitoad is also pretty ugly. I would probably have liked it if it wasn't for its face, though. Those red eyes, combined with it's odd head speakers making it have that "eyes half-closed" look, plus that idiotic smile, makes it just look... well... stupid.

A few months ago, when playing SoulSilver, I was fighting off Team Rocket in the Slowpoke Well. My Noctowl was near-effortlessly beating every one of them, but then, out of nowhere, Hypnosis missed eight times in a row.Posted in: Pokémon General
Another would be my encounter with a shiny Shuppet.
That knew Curse.
And decided to use it on the very turn that I got it to below half health.

Maylene was the easiest for me, as I had a Rotom in fan form that was both immune to Fighting and had Air Slash. I swept through the whole gym with ease.Posted in: Pokémon Diamond, Pearl & Platinum

I blatantly stole the name from someone on Youtube, but oh well.

I saw a shiny Shuppet in my Emerald game. One attack managed to get it to near-critical health, and I was fully prepared to try and catch it, due to my obsessive habit of buying way more Poke Balls than I would ever need.Posted in: Pokémon General
Guess what it did on the very first turn?
It used Curse and knocked itself out.
Only months later, my best friend found two shinies in the span of one week. One of them was a Graveler who knew Selfdestruct, yet never tried it in the three or so turns it took to catch it. My friend was sympathetic about what happened, and was happy to give me the other, a Budew, essentially for free. Still, I am pretty disappointed at what happened.

I think I've got a list of these somewhere on my computer. Let's see...Posted in: Pokémon General
Wait, this is a terrible first post. Oh well.
