Alright folks, the Pokedex 3D for the Nintendo 3DS has now been replaced by its big brother, the Pokedex 3D Pro, available from the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS for $14.99 (US), £13.49 (UK), €14.99 (EU), and $19.50 (Australia). This provides a pretty sweet fully 3D browsable, searchable Pokedex for all of the Pokemon, as well as every form they have, and also contains things like a complete listing of moves each Pokemon learn, a full Move Dex, and more.
While all of this information is easily found on Pokemon.Marriland.com, it's still convenient to have it all contained in your 3DS for those times where you're on the go, or just to have it all handy. It is also around the same price as a printed book containing all of that information would cost.
Is it worth the high cost? Well, I've gone ahead and uploaded a video overview to YouTube outlining it. Click the Marill above to check out my initial coverage of the game! It doesn't show everything, like the AR features, which let you take 3D pictures of real stuff and have Pokemon in the picture, or all of the quizzes, but it should at least give you a general idea of if it looks up your alley or not.
Needless to say, it is the newest addition to the collection of Pokemon games, so definitely at least check it out and then decide whether it's worth your money!
