i looked at the animation and i think you need to use layers to color. it looks really bad when there are colors on top of outlines(lineart) and i suggest maybe drawing the face too? i saw the animation of your other arcanine pic and it looks just like this one. its hard to come up with new poses for the main animal/pokemon/etc. in the picture. i just have trouble with backgrounds. i can come up with backgrounds but i cant draw them so i make wierd backgrounds and they are all the same almost. search my pictures and look through there and youll see what i mean.

anyways, you need a new pose for arcanine. maybe he could be on a mountain roaring with a volcano exploding in the background?

you have to go to a layer under the lines, or if the lines are on the layer 0 you can move them to a higher layer by dragging them onto a blank layer and clicking "Merge"
