WiFi Connection just drops out...

I have bought a WiFi USB Connector, and all of the connections work perfectly fine... until I try to connect. It holds up for like ten seconds (three bars!) and then it just drops suddenly to zero and tells me the connection has failed. I'm using a Windows XP with all the stuff installed. I now officially HATE Windows with all of my heart! Help would be appreciated though.

i had the same problem! it's annoying! i couldn't solve it so i bought a Wireless Router instead =)
did you "take" your FC?

I have a wireless router through which the computer connects to the Internet (so technically, the router's wireless, but the computer's connection to the Internet is not), my Mac laptop can pick up the signal wirelessly, but the Windows laptop cannot. Junk. Anyway, the error code is 52103, I temporarily put down the firewall to see if it makes any difference (it doesn't), and obviously I have an Internet connection, so the only other explanation is the DNS thing, which makes no sense to me whatsoever. If someone could explain that to me, as well as what to do, that would be awesome.

And about the friend code, adam... I have no idea what you're talking about.

do you know what's your Friend code is?

and if you have wireless router you should be able to get a connection.

You are probably on WPA

you have to change it to WEP

type that in to URL and change to WEP wifi settings.

that happened to me...you might have a firewall up...i dont know much about computers etc but i have windows and the same thing happened so i went to control panel and disabled the firewall just while i was on wifi and it seemed to work for me..
