You can do experiments to see it affect you, right to home, so you aren't just thinking about some "possible risk of some rare heart disease" thing.
Try eating rice cooked from raw rice one night, and the next day eat a flavored- half made rice mix, those usually contain MSG. The MSG will almost certainly give you a headache.
Buy Mcdonalds, Burger king, Jack in the box, or Pizza hut (the safest fast food chains are Wendy's and Taco bell(if you don't get meat)), and eat it, try to walk a mile in the next hour without experiencing nausea.
I mean this food takes energy to digest because of all the additives they contain and it's really not healthy, even in the short term, you aught not to eat it.
