Ruby: BRELOOM closes in on its foe with light
and sprightly footwork, then throws
punches with its stretchy arms. This POKéMON’s fighting technique puts
boxers to shame.
Sapphire: The seeds ringing BRELOOM’s tail are
made of hardened toxic spores. It is
horrible to eat the seeds.Just taking a bite of this POKéMON’s
seed will cause your stomach to rumble.

Posted 12/7/2012 9:22:18 AMOkay. Awful pun right there.
But yeah. Breloom is really, really cool :)
Breloom works with what it has, but what it has is more than enough.
I usually get by with this moveset:
Spore (Wait to evolve Shroomish until level 50, make it learn spore, then let it evolve)
Focus Punch (Use after spore)
Leech Seed (So that it can drain your opponent's HP away)
Giga Drain/Thunderpunch/Sludge Bomb/Iron Tail (Giga Drain to add to the HP gain, Thunderpunch for some type coverage, Sludge Bomb and Iron Tail are other options)
I advise to EV train Breloom's Attack and Speed. :)))

Posted 3/20/2013 11:14:25 PMWhy waste a move with Giga Drain? Breed it Poison Heal and give it a Toxic Orb. It'll heal itself that way.
Not only that, but it learns DRAIN PUNCH! That even give you extra damage for STAB and gives you 50% of the damage done returned to you!
None of your moves are Quality STAB moves. Your Breloom would be terrible.

Posted 3/30/2013 7:40:28 PMFocus Punch is actually ideal for a Breloom with Poison Heal. Give it a Toxic Orb and Substitute. It heals 1/8th of its HP every turn and using Substitute sacrifices 1/4th of its HP. The opponent can't attack you directly if there's a substitute out on the field, so you are free to use Focus Punch. Focus Punch has 150 base power, 100% accuracy, and 20 PP. With STAB, that's 225 power. Even if the opponent happens to break the substitute, chances are you still won't get hit (unless the opponent uses a move that hits multiple times, depending on which game you're playing) so you are still able to execute Focus Punch. And all it takes is two more turns to be able to use another Substitute. In the past, Focus Punch was highly inefficient because it required two turns and would miss if the user got hit. Now the charge up starts at the beginning of the turn, and the actual attack has reduced priority.
